TRAVEL CERTIFICATES FOR PETS

DOMESTIC TRAVEL

Here at Community Animal Hospital we offer travel certificates for pets undergoing domestic travel to all U.S. States excluding Hawaii.

Requirements:

  • Pet must have a physical exam and be in good health to be cleared for travel.
  • Schedule exam within 30 days of travel.
  • Have the date of travel and destination address available.
  • Bring any documentation required by the airline if any.
  • Current Rabies certificate signed in ink (we can update and provide one here).

INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL

Your pet must be up to date on vaccines with Heartworm plus Flea/Tick preventative. Have the address of where you live in the United States and the destination address.

Click the link to find your country of travel: https://www.aphis.usda.gov/pet-travel and specific destination requirements before you schedule your exam. Keep in mind that every country has different requirements.

  • We DO NOT offer Certificates to E.U. (European Union) Hawaii, Cuba, or Spain. (As well as Pet Passports).
  • We are currently only doing Travel Certificates for “Green Banner” countries Only.
  • You are responsible for getting any additional information from the Airline necessary for travel.
  • We DO NOT call the airlines for you or print additional documentation required by the airlines.
  • If vaccines are not up to date, there is a possibility of an additional wait time before travel.
  • We accept vaccine records from other clinics but require the administration date, expiration date, batch number, and manufacturer information since it is required to be shown on the certificate.
  • Rabies/Vaccine Certificates from other clinics are required to be signed in ink by the doctor who administered them or we can update the vaccine and do one here.
